Hey guys,
I don't do anything web related for a living. However I've always been interested in art of all kinds. I can throw pottery on a wheel, I used to be interested in photography, I doodle constantly, I have always been and still am way into music and I have played various instruments in a number of bands since I was 12 (Garage Bands, to Marching Band, to Concert Band) and I would love to learn how to paint.
I joined this forum mainly to communicate with an artist who was doing some work for me. But I've been looking around, and learning, and becoming extremely interested in graphic design, and digital art. This made me remember a time sevenish years ago when was a MS Paint addict. When I was bored I would open the program and doodle around. So today I was thinking, "Man It would be cool to see some of those old MS paint doodles I did". But I never really saved anything, and if I did save anything it was now non-existant. The computer we had back crashed
years ago and all the files saved on it went with it....or so I thought!
Today I was at my parents house and I was checking my e-mail and this forum ect. and I found a file called "OLD COMPUTER". I opened it up and saw another file called "john's documents". Opened that up and found these...
Really was cool to see this stuff from so long ago. I thought to myself, "Hell if I enjoyed drawing on the computer way back then why don't I dig a little deeper into graphic design, maybe I could do it."
I also just wanted to share something that maybe some of you will get a kick from, or maybe remember old stuff you used to do as a kid.
I don't really remember what any of this stuff means, but that makes it even cooler to me.
Also made me want to fire up MSpaint and doodle again...
