My first design EVER!!

I just wanna share my first design picture here. I hope to get some reviews, good or bad, do not care, I just want trustful reviews.

It's much better than my first design

Somebody might help you with the design part because I'm not skilled with that, but I'll give you a hand with the development bit ...

1- you will have troubles to export that background, if this is your first design you should use a background that is easy to export and tiled.
2- use web fonts.

Good job! That's better than what I might make. I think I try too hard when I create. If I kept my art simple, it'd probably be better.

But that's pretty good for your first design -keep it up!

Honestly it looks like stuff from the late 1990's. Check out tutorials online. That taught me a lot more than feedback from forums.

johnpeter, why is it ok for the link you are promoting in your signature to do the same thing but you critized the original poster for doing it?

Watermarking a design screenshot is common place.

Nicely done for a beginner. I guess it would be better if you're going to invert the gradient on your background. I mean, instead of purple(violet) to black, why not make it black to purple(violet).

Just a friendly advice, the site's design should reflect the meaning, objectives or tells what the website is all about. In your case, it seems that your design is for a website whose niche is somehow related with gadgets. IMO

nice try just practice and you will be a good designer. All web designer also started just like you. Just focus and search for more tutorials online you can find lots of good tutorial. Goodluck
