Not so good wallpaper
Hey guys, since im trying to learn adobe and stuff i made this wallpaper just to see how things work and what people would think of it. Please give me some constructive criticism.

reminds me of a geographical relief map ... interesting effect .... a bit dark and drab though ... not sure if this is important to you or not but, it's very difficult to read the text, as drummer pointed out...

Ok i fixed the text, but im wondering is there a better format to save it in maybe? because it loses quite a bit when i save as gif....

Try to make an other layer below it, with a different colro or something, and change the Oppacity of the top layer...
My guess is that it will increase the depth perseption of the image...but i might be wrong

yeah it's not too bad but all i've seen u use is the gradient fill and inner bevel.
More fonts more layers, different colours, bigger text.
Make the text into an image rather than just some words.

How tho, whenever i do anything to the text it looks like crap, and i don't know where to get custom fonts.
