I like 2, 4, & 6.
You could make a Mike Coutermarsh-ish site, and have it change with the season!

You should include all of those into your design .. like a dropdown menu or something to choose which color an user wants! or maybe have a box of the colors.. once an user click on a green box.. the design will change to green ..
Just an idea!

I'm sure you can do it with PHP, but it is probably easier to do it with CSS.

You would use a HTML form (drop-down menu) that would call a certain external CSS file. I've seen it done on websites that demonstrate using CSS for table layout.

I have a link to the site on my home computer (I'm at work now), but I'm sure someone out there has the link to the site, considering we talk about CSS to layout tables a lot.

It should be pretty simple. You would use CSS to call the images you want to use in the table background, and to set the font color. You would have to create a base CSS file, with one color design, then duplicate, and change the image names.

Not forgetting that you would have to slice every single one of those templates into separate images (while keeping the size of each of the parts the same)

Simple when it comes to the CSS and file set up, but a little time consuming when it comes to the image prep and such.

Personally, I think it would be a waste of time, web space, and bandwidth. I would just forget the templates all together, along with the images that are sliced from the templates, and just change easy stuff, like the background color, table borders, font colors, and other stuff like that.
