Image Maps?

Hi,

Say I make an image 500 x 500 and slice it up so I can have a bunch
of smaller images, then have them in a table. Is the way to have them load
one after another done by using an image map.

Example: I want it to assemble one pc after another so that it all comes
together nicely, instead of a pc to the right, and one to the bottom,
and lastly one in the middle.

How is this done using Photoshop 7.0?

I think you are confusing image maps with image slicing.

Seems like a waste of time since the market is saturated with broadband users anyways.

See how smart I sound when I use buzzwords like "saturated market"? Try it kids, its fun.

Hi,

Thanks for replying!

Nope, I wanted to know how to load images in order. I thought an image map
might be what does that!

Well, I was hoping for another way. It was suggested I could make it a flash
file. I was thinking of making a large background image, but only using a portion
of it in a template within tables. I just didn't want the load sloppy. Oh well....

Well Maybe! Its just that a large percentage are still using dial-up. I can't
even remember what thats like! I own a Traffic Exchange, that is
coming up on its 1 year anniversary, with over 5300 members and still growing.
But then again, you might be one of those people that say, "traffic exchanges
are a waste". The market might seem saturated, but there are still
millions of people who don't own a computer, and many coming onto the
internet on a daily basis. Want to welcome them professionally! hahaha

Thanks for the input guys,

Robert

in image map is an individual picture, that has multiple "clickable", and therefore "linkable" areas on it, that you define down to the pixle
