Try changing the blend mode of the graphiti to hue.

well none of the blending options did anything so I just lowered the opacity

last one is best so far...
I sould suggest you make the layer even more see through, and duplicate it, make the lower layer 0% transparent and change blend mode to loke hue or colour or something
