Looks nice, but nothing about it lends you to believe that it is a motocross track's website. You might want to include something that gives a hint as to the content of the site.

agree with previous comment ... i would also add that the design seems generic which makes it unappealing. a motocross track seems like it would be more of a fun and active image than the current concept. try and go with something that presents that type of emotion or nature. the type of business should be obvious from the onset, or at least present that type of attitude ... good luck.

Not bad. I do not like the deepness of the drop shadow.

Use the above suggestions in a header with the current logo. Otherwise I like it.

In someway the newsletter sign up takes away from the affect the header should have. I am not sure how you would go about fixing it unless you could somehow merge it into looking like part of the dirt track you put there. Otherwise you did good with it.

I would add more colour to it. In fact it;s an awesome subject and you can play a lot with some expressive images. The layout is nice, but you could bring more life to it by putting images.
Great work anyway

Thanks for your suggestions. Here's the latest revision which removes the focus from the newsletter and puts some texture on the dirt behind it (rather than the stretched sample.
Revised Layout
Thanks again.

If you can move that box all the way to the top right there. Also if you know how make the bottom part of box to fit the dirt bg where it matches that and have the top half fit the grey bg. If you can do this I think it would be perfect. At the very minimum move the box to the top right all the way in the corner. You may want to wait and see what the others say about my suggestion.
Edit. If you make box to fit bg accordingly you may need to change white letters to black to fit grey part of box.
Edit I do see why you have the box there. Maybe just see if you can have it more transparent. It covers up the bike too much for my taste.

I'd lose the box completely and just put the sign-up text right in the dirt. Either that or move it out of the header and into the page body.

There ya go. Not sure if it will be to "empty" over there with nothing at all. Do the sign up newsletter text in the dirt idea and let us see what that looks like. Try to avoid having it cover up the bike any.
