How can I improve this project logo that has been in use for the past year? I want it to be more impactful and maybe fit with a website like the MIT Technology Award template in use.

I would start with fewer horizontal lines, and antialiasing of the Project 20. I think that would go a long way to some very quick improvements.

i agree, my eyes seem distracted from the direction of all the red lines going one way or another...
