is it possible to replace my wordpress title in the top left corner?

I want to replace my very bland wordpress title that is located in the banner on the top left of my page with something a little more 'catchy' and original. Is this possible?

Is it an image or just text. Are you using a custom theme? In most cases the title displayed is determined by the name you selected when you set up the blog. In which case all you need to do is change the title in the settings of your control panel.

Yes, but is a PITA if you have never dealt with a WP template.

A beginner would be better off finding a template that is close to what you want and then modding that.

Anyways, yes, I am new to Wordpress and I'm pretty sure it is text. I don't want to change what the text says, I just want to make it look really good, like something from Fireworks.

Simple Solution is to edit page template css. How? Find .css file where you have style for #fixed {} and write new style for #fixed h1 {}
