I don't just want to enlarge, I want it to easily break the picture up into page sized sections that I can print and then put all the pieces together to have a giant picture.
Like it shows in the attachments:

Well yes, just do that. Use enlargement software to make the image massive.
Then use another program to split the new image into A4 pages.
I posted a request for a program that does that on this forum one time. Cant remember what program does it, but it worked fine.
Youll need good enlargement software, that frog thing only does 200%.
Infact the best method is to get a photograph (or photo quality print) and scan it in at 600DPI, it will be scanned in really large. Then use software like Genuine Fractals to enlarge it, and the image splitter software to print it on separate A4 pages. This method can give you a 6 foot image.

Don't you split it up first, and then enlarge it?

Will the slice tool in PS do it? I'm not familiar w/it so I don't know if it would do what you want or not.
I was just reading about the crop tool and it seems there is a way to predefine crop dimensions. Have you read about that?

Not unless you want white borders on the inner pieces

Nope, because the program that splits it up just takes the whole giant image and just prints it onto different pieces of paper. So you'd have to enlarge it first.

Yes, I could just crop it how I want, which is what I usually do. But for something this big it would be a huge PITA. Plus I want it to be super-accurate.

Nope. You just cut the white edges off. The image prints a little of what's on the previous piece also on the next piece so you cut the white off of the one sheet, then overlap them so it is seamless.

I see. I guess I was confused between the program in post #1 and the one Stephen mentioned, because what I gathered from the ebay post was that he cut the image into "little pieces" and then enlarged each piece, then put the pieces back together.

I thought this conversation was familliar. There are a few links to some similar software on one of my posts.
It's interesting to see some of our old comments regarding this.

Yeah Jazzee saying you don't have to buy a program just for this purpose, now she wants one Well i guess if she wants it 'super accurate' cropping might not be an option

Yup, it has to be perfect. I want to create a very large black and white photo of my son to hang on a wall. Will be doing it as soon as I decide the best photo to use.
