How to make graphics look good in all browsers?

When I see a graphic it looks fine in Mozilla / Firefox, but in Opera it does not look right. How do I make it look right in Opera? It is a smooth gradient in Firefox, but n Opera it is banded. Any ideas?

I can't see a difference ... my eyes are not the greatest, so, maybe someone else can.

Just FYI ..
.. my Opera browser centers the graphic, and my FF browser aligns it top left.

In my comparison, these two factors are the same. Additionally, my comparison file is a JPG whereas yours is a PNG, but I do not know if this is a factor or not.

Better ask Opera and FireFox why they reference a file on a local machine differently. Those are the default settings of the browsers, they have different setting for fonts by default, thus the page has a different size.

Atom did you know that they render graphics differently?

Hmm .. my URL's are identical in each of the browsers, but I don't think that the fact that yours are not is a relevant factor in this situation.

You can and should customize one browser's relevant settings to match the other's, for an accurate comparison.

No, I didn't. I do know, however, that if this is the case, I cannot visually see any difference. It must be that my relevant settings are the same in each browser?
