Business Card
I thought it was about time I made a business card for myself.
But I'm a bit stuck on ideas, I thought of something pretty simple, if anyone has any tips that would be great because I'm not too sure what I am doing..
Front
Back (1)
Back(2)
I'm not sure what back one to go with..Help on that would also be great :-)
Cheers

Would it go well with the front do you think? Cause its going to be a double sided business card.
I was just told be someone that the mint leaf (back(2)) makes me look like a horticulturist, and thats not really the image I want for myself :-p do you agree or disagree?

Yes. Actually I think that back(2) will make the best front at that size, whether there's a front and back or two fronts. Back(2) is intricately decorative at this smaller size. Front is less appreciable at that size. Front is cool when it's larger.

Guess I misunderstood then. Thought that you had chosen Front as front and were trying to decide which back to pair it with.

Thats right, I had chosen Front as front and was trying to find something to match with it, but you said that front isn't as appreciable at that size, so I thought maybe I should go back and have a think about the front as well...

I see. Well, I think as looks go back(2) would make the best front, but then you've got the horticulture thing. lol

Honestly I wouldn't think it much of a concern, especially considering the unusual coloration and the fact that it says Web Design. Floral motifs are quite common.

Thats good, I was thinking that seeing it said web design people shouldn't be too lost.
Great, I might go with that one then. :-)

Or .. leaf motifs I should say I guess. Yeah that leaf one at that size is the most aesthetically appealling to me. Maybe get some other opinions ..
Is that actual size? Looks a bit small.
Best to view actual size. 320px by 180px is about standard is it? I am not sure, but I think that that would be closer to standard size.
I think that DaveyBoy has some experience with printed stuff. Not sure who else ..

Yep, that's more like it. That leaf one looks nice. I would try black for the shadow color, try less opacity too, might look better.

LOL. If that were true you'd have nothing but a transparent background. lol

Yes, it will look better if the shadow color is black and the opacity of the shadow is reduced I believe. I've already tried it and it does look better, to me anyway. But if you like it, leave it. I'm just giving you my opinion, and I'm not too sure how important that is. lol
Actually, the way it is is ok really I'd say. Looks good.
