Design Basics - Value with Depth
I thought I would post some basics that I'm learning in classes now. Maybe this might help someone
This is using just black, grey and white. By keeping the darkest image upfront and the lightest in back. Also largest infront and smallest in back you can create depth in an image.

Thank you I have done some design over the years, but all on my own. So learning all these basic concepts has been great. I still have a year of classes and they are all design. So I should be able to post a project or two each week
Maybe some people can save the 28k I'm spending on classes.

Definitely not cheap. But I can say they do make the classes hard. And you are learning. I can't say that with my first school for my Associates, it seemed all too easy.

No I didn't. I thought it was a pretty cool one I didn't do that site at all. Just taking over on the SEO stuff for that one. It may be redone soon. But they have a whole creative department that will do that. I just keep the pages updated when needed.

Just a little thing I was wondering...
are you shotening "graphic design" into "design" just for convenience or do u really mean "Design"?

The class is design basics. The images are graphic design but we do go over the same concepts being used in paintings, photographs and other forms of art.

lj if you learn about design it crosses platforms, like line, function and form can be used to make a table for ikea as it can for making a logo or something...
