I found 2 computer graphic artworks, layered one on the other and tried a few blend modes.
I wasn't expecting it but suddenly when I chose one blend mode, the superposition gave birth to a great new artwork!

The first image, a nice abstract image, typical of desktop wallpapers, but with an extra spark.
The second, the head with a futuristic VR headset, was clinically technological and in my mind cold, this contrasts well with the warm serene tranquil girl.
I like both on their own, but I think the image I created by joining the two in the way I have, adds a new depth, and meaning.
The abstract shapes are very dreamy, and take the foreground of the scene, the girl and VR headset represent the link between human and machine, the futuristic look allows science fictional technology, I think the head set could be computer interface that listens to your thoughts, or it could be a strange 'dream machine' creating or enhancing your dreams while you sleep, or recording them, or showing you a view of your subconscious while you are awake.
These fantasies are common dreams of sci-fi writers and "human-computer interaction" specialists. So the whole thing could be the graphical representation of these peoples' dreams, in which they dream of the image, which is an image of their dream, in which they dream of this image, which is an image of........(repeat to infinity).
The girl has also receded into the background, just like your real life gives way for the imaginary world when you go to sleep.
I think the image is a dream.
What do you think?
And here are reduced versions of the original images, I can't remember wher ethey came from, but I found them on the web only recently...
