Where can I get design inspiration

True. Maybe the OP wants to use a template as a base and then create his awesome design around it? There are millions of tutorials online that you can use for inspiration towards our new design. Just take a good look around you. Sometimes you will find it in pictures, a design that blows your mind, thats easy to replicate and easy to work on towards building something new and unique.

At the end of the day though, it all depends on you. We can point you to the web and let you loose, but you decide what inspires you and you decide what to build on in the end. Normally when something pops out at you and grabs your attention, take a closer look, you may just be able to create it, perfect it and even change it and make it a completely new design all on your own.

Design inspiration can pretty much come from anywhere but I get the impression you're looking for more of a starting point or some kind of practical execution - a template or layout that has elements or features that will help push you in a direction that best suits your needs. It never hurts to research design trends on template sites just make sure you're looking at the new stuff.

Normally you wouldn't want to be beholden to 'other peoples' works but it's not a bad idea to at least see where the trends are and put your own spin on things.

Exactly. You could even use more than one element from many different designs and simply put em all together into something you can call your own. I have seen a lot of different web sites that all have one or two fundamental similarities as a base, but the designers have added their own style to the site that makes it entirely unique.

if you want to get inspiration from others than i prefer you to try abuzeedo's blog, there you find amazing inspiration about designs, there had a lots of awesome stuffs.

I usually go to template monster, thefwa, design licks, photo stocks... They give me some basic idea, but my design is always original.

There are a lot of free templates from wordpress, joomla and you can always purchase your own customized theme.

Exactly this is what I'm doing in coding. Copy and put them together. Then you need some experience in case it goes wrong.

Well basically what noelagnote has said is true and I agree there are so many sites to choose from and inspire there design graphically for me I got to templatemonster as an inspiration.
