I take it you hade a tree photo to start from?
how come the light beams on the right come from 2 different angles?
should the tree of life have a dead branch?

it is completely drawn myself. The texture is based on a photograph, but i totaly drew it myself, just to find out if i could do it.
it has 4 layers.
a basic layer
a lightning layer
a relief layer
a moss layer

the 4 layers. I got the forms from a picture of a tree in my backyard. Then it was a lot of brush - clone and distorting work.
