Too Many Plugins
I downloaded a lot of plugins, but there are a few problems
1) load time, takes 5 minutes to load photoshop
2) the filter menu.. it works for like first ones, but if you go too far down the subfolders stop working

You might try assigning a Scratch Disc > Help/Photoshop Help/Index/S/Scratch Discs ...
... and under Edit/Preferences/Plug-Ins & Scratch Discs, put a check beside Additional Plug-Ins Directory, and then under the Scratch Discs category, select the drive you've designated in the "First" dropdown. Then click OK.
I haven't tried this, so, if you decide to, please let me know if it helps.

just dont put the scratch disk on the same drive as windows and also not on whatever drive you have your swap disk
also make sure that the drive/s you assign as scratch disk/s are defragmented and have a lot of free space
