Little bit of help please :: Removing

Hey everybody,

I am editing a small flyer for some local meeting here but my Photoshop skills are not as advanced as the average Photoshopper here so I am calling in your help.

I would only need the bike with the person on from the following file. So the text "Bobbejaanland 2005" and "Zaterdag 14 Mei" should be removed and the background to if possible.

That would be great. If anyone jumps on this would you also be kind enough to provide me with the steps you took to do it? You don't have to go into detail but I would appreciate the steps in big lines.

Anyone know the font used for "Bobbejaanland 2005" by any chance?

Found it, it's called "Adventure"

I looked around but couldn't find it, nor did I spot it among my 6700 fonts, but I just looked and I do have it ... I just missed it. I think I have too many fonts .. lol. Glad to hear you found it.

BTW, I used the pen tool in Photoshop to extract the bike and rider.

I have about 2700 and it's already hard for me to find various fonts so I can imagine what i's like to have 6700.

Ah well, I found it and that's the most important thing.

The pen tool you say? Alright, i'll check it out.

This is what I have so far but I am not pleased with the text "papadax presents". You're welcome to give me any advice.

I think a 1px black border around "papadax presents" would make it look better.

This is what they wanted as final. You're still welcome to give comments or even help me retouch it a little. It's simple but that was the point.
