Thats cool. maybe add a black 1 px line under recent news from the blue on the left to the right.
Also make the BG in the back a light grey. It sticks out, but maybe it should be like that?

cant relly c what u can put in the white bit... take out gradients cus itll look odd wiv text on

id add some highlights to the blue panels and loose the gradient on the content boxes making then white see how that looks...to make simple hightlights use a polygon tool draw a nice shape fill white reduce opacity! or set to softlight

I see what you mean... It dont matter phil.. I know fireworks allot now! But, witch blue panels? the ones in the "recent news"? Ile see how it is with no gradient on the box next to the "recent news". But, im gonna leave the featured box and 3 other sub features... those are gonna be filled with high graphic pic's anyway...

also the light angles are odd on the top black bar if u pick where a light source would come from say top right or direct top then work from that then you ll have realistic lighting effects
