Exclamation save as.gif HOW

Hi,
am a new member...and i was wondering if any one knows how to save the images as .gif when using image ready??

some of ma friendz told me that i must go to save optimize and then choose the .gif extension.....but when i tried to do that i couldn't coz the option wasn't there

I only found .jpg and .html

so plz if any one knows how to fix this problem plz let me know...either by posting the responses or emailing me on zainabi110@gimal.com

Ps..sorry for ma poor language..but the fact is that english is not ma mathor tongue...

File > Save Optimised As > (goto drop down menu on) Save as type > Images only gif.

I don't use Image Ready but I think thats what you mean.

You are doing it right the first time... you just don't have the settings right before you try to save.

look at the image below. click on the optimized tab. In your optimize pallete make sure you set the format as gif. you can then adjust the settings to get the image optimized as needed... then do as you did before.

file > save optimized as > you can select html or gif this time.
the reason that you have html or jpg, is because you optimized settings are set to jpg.

thanx again

i just wanted to say that the attachement was very useful
the problem was with ma settings...as u said the reason that it was saving as html and jpg, is because ma optimized settings were set to jpg.
