How to add border in Dreamweaver

I have been trying to figure it out but not success.

either a CSS 1px border or you can do that by adding cellspacing of 1 pixel then fill the full table with the border colour then fill the cell inside it with white. Bad way of doing it though.

give the element you want to give a border to either a class or id

eg
Code:
<table class="maincontent">...
then in your css file put something along the lines of

.maincontent { border: 1px solid #000000; }
