Oh. Well, I use a Photoshop plug-in to make picture frames, but occasionally I'll make my own using a custom shape or selections and fill etc. You can use borders or stroke if you want too ... there's actually several different ways of going about it.

I don't know of a filter that does that... your looking for masking or erasing areas of many photos on different layers to achieve the collage look.

of course I may be miss understanding the question as well.

As for the collage thing, well, you simply paste or drag the pics into the main frame, position as you wish, then dress or blend the edges of each pic as desired.

Now if you want that green cast over everything, once you get all your pics in there, you then can merge the layers and image/adjustments/desaturate, then make it the color that you want using image/adjustments/channel mixer. Make sure that you make the channels layer a seperate layer so that you can adjust the opacity/tint/saturation etc later.

Hi, Foreigner

I hope this can help you. I threw together a quick banner of pictures of my daughter. It's not a good design, but this will show you the steps I took to make it......then you can add other things, like frames, if you want. I don't have the frame plug-in, so I used the "stroke" feature....and I set it to be "inside" the image.

Step 1: Choose the images you want and then drag each onto a plain background. Resize, rearrange and erase backgrounds as you wish. At this point, each photo will be a separate layer, and editable individually.

Step 2: (see screenshot) Merge images

Step 3: (see screenshot) Desaturate - this will remove all color from your image

Step 4: (see screenshot) Channel Mixer - use this to play with the color until you're happy with it. You can also fade the color and give it a different look by going to Edit-->Fade....You can then choose the level of opacity, as well as how you'd like to apply the color (example: overlay, hard light, etc)

I have attached screen shots to show you the steps....I hope they attach in order. Please let me know if you need any more details.

Good luck!
