I agree. You should see some of the neet stuff my sister has been collecting .. I probably should just photograph some of it, scanning and PS prep is a bit difficult on larger framed pieces. Like .. this Blackberries one took forever! Oh well. That blue streak is beginning to bug me ... I've got a few bad scanners that I'm hoping I can use the glass from.

This is a bad copy, but they used to sell this stuff as a douche. Standards were a little more lax back then.

Yeah, maybe I'll scan that one again when I change the glass in the scanner .. I'll give that a shot tonight.
This artist is fairly famous and prints of his works are avidly collected. He's famous for his zany depictions, Barbelle is his name. Not one of my faves but still pretty kool:

Isn't that great.
I have a few ads that I framed, mostly old "Doctors recomend"...stuff. But my scanner is too small.

I really like some of the late Art Deco (40's/50's) art and architecture. I've had and seen many items and works created in this style and in that period.
Well folks, I took my scanner apart and cleaned the glass thinking that that was the source of the blue streak, but it wasn't, and I actually somehow ended up making it worse. Oh well ... time to find another scanner. : /

Well, at least they're cheap. We get used ones at the local Goodwill ... problem with them is that you can't try them out before buying them, but they will take them back if they don't work which is kool.

that is good... a return policy. I don't think my thrift stores have a return policy... even the goodwill.
