Folky Art
These are a couple of cards from the 1880's that I scanned .. we have them framed and hanging on the wall with a lot of other ephemera. I'll be scanning certain pieces for posting occasionally. Have got some pretty good early 20th century sheet music too.

I was looking at those the yesterday but never got around to posting anything. Is "OVER" the artist or is there something on the back?

I love folk art. I've had and seen quite a bit, some of it worth more money than average people would even think possible.  Even some relatively newer stuff is quite valuable and highly sought. Some of the best folk art is unsigned and not attributable.

There's a good chance that the Merchant's Gargling Oil Liniment advertized on the pamphlet in post #7 had opium in it. lol
