WTF? I can only type in CAPS in photoshop
Anyone know what can cause this? When I add text in photoshop I only get caps. That didn't do that the past years that I'm using it on this computer, my caps-lock is not on.
Is there some setting that I messed up without knowing it? Does anyone know how to solve this?

Check if you don't have this icon active:
It's responsible for capitalizing the letters in the text you entered.

Right-click on the little arrow on the right hand side of your character box and check if 'All Caps' is ticked.

Window > Show Character
Is that what you mean?
BTW - I am running PS6 and I am not sure if it's the same options or not.

I don't know what version of PS varelse is running as my box isn't the same as that either. He must be running a diff version.

Hi
I have upgraded to PS7 from PS6 and am not able to get the "Character" box. Does this mean my Photoshop may be corrupted?

I used to use PhotoShop 5 and have worked my way up over time to now having PhotoShop CS2.
What I want to know is, what's PhotoShop and why did I ever install this in the first place when I get a free version with my pc called Paint?
