Zbrush and I now friends :)

I've been hacking at this head for a few days now. Still learning and I didnt use any ref pics so some things don't exactly look like they should atm hehe.

anyone else use zbrush or model?

It's cheap. A friend and I went in together on a direct dl of a *cough* *cough* ... single user lic... *cough* *cough*

yeah, anyways. Not that I condone that type of behaviour. It gives us both a chance to try it out and then buy out the other person once we can both afford our own copy.

Good question. I hadn't planned on doing anything actively with it.

I think once im happy with how it's modeled, ill start on texturing it. You can do that in zbrush as well, right on the model then export the maps - so thats next for sure.

I bought Zbrush 1 and upgraded it to Zbrush2 when it came out and added the PS plugin too, I have it a couple of years already but never came to learn how to use it yet. (Apart from some doodling)

Nice looking head 3ncryptabl3_lick, I really have to make some time to learn how to work that program.

I never heard of zbrush, but that's very good work, I can't wait to see it complete.

Pixologic makes ZBrush. I'm using v2.

I played through the demo and it was exactly like I had hoped it was so I am hooked. I've tried modeling softbody stuff in other programs but I sucked.

Other than my hands staying clean and I use a tablet, sculpting is sculpting, and I've always loved sculpting. I kinda feel like I can keep in practice without getting my office all mucked up. Though it is atm, with another sculpt of course.

Definitely dl the demo. If your keen on jumping in. Pretty cool!
