Newbie Question
I am a complete newbie to photoshop and I have a question.
In this website, bootb.com/es, I want to make a logo that looks like the one that says "para marcas". I love that pencil crayon, incomplete coloring look, and I was wondering how I can replicate that in Photoshop.
Thanks

You could do that in two layers. One would be where you draw the cloud, color it, and the second would be the text. I think what you would need though, is a font that looks like crayon script and a brush that works like a crayon to get the actual effect.
That's the quickest way you could do it, I think.

I would recommend first downloading a similar looking font;
Search Da Font Handwritten Category and click the number one result.
Dafont is a great place for free fonts I have also chosen the hand-written category thats your best bet for finding something similar. Have a look until you find the right one for your logo.
Once you have selected this have a look at this tutorial for some good ideas on how you could go about creating the cloud effect or even adjusting the font.
Search Crayon Texture and click the number one result.
Hope this helps get you in the right direction!
Sorry I am not aloud to post links yet.

Hmm. The OP has mentioned that they are a newbie, so maybe curving with the pen tool could be a little advanced. Will see if I can find a a cloud tutorial thats easy to follow.

Definitely do the layers method. It only requires at least 5 steps and will save you a lot more time. I don't think it will look as polished but for the time, you will get what you were looking for.
You will want to use Illustrator or a more advanced tutorial if you want a more polished and realistic look though.

there are a few good tutorial sites online that can give you the basics to photoshop and illustrator. I find the best way to do some learning is to just mess around with each tool. Good luck!

Be sure to be working on a local server when you do this.

To design logos most designers prefer illustrator but yes you can also make logos in photo shop.
