Tutorials for making little adverts?

I have sponsors for my forum and at the moment I have just copied their logos off their websites and put them on my site.

They look awful. I mean really awful.

I have photoshop but am no pro but really want to make some sleek little square adverts to represent my sponsors.

Any tutorials? Advice? Anyone fancy teaching me lol.

I can only say that If you want to make adverts through tutorials ten You just go through the online researching or else ask your friends who did that course. I hope that I am giving you right advice.

That video is great thank you, I knew how to do some of the things but there was a few in there I didn't know.

I suppose my biggest issue is a lot of my sponsors logos are 'pictures', so I can't replicate that with the font tool hence having to copy their logos and insert them into photoshop, which look rubbish lol. Espcially as I try to adjust the size etc.

By the way your google search just goes to google.. No search.

Adjusting sizes can be a pain, especially with images because the pixels get all blurry and distort. If you need any help, give me a shout and I will try help out. I don't do design as much anymore because I've focused on digital art, but I manipulate pics so I might be able to help, if you like.

Can't you also make it clear on your advert page that the sponsor must provide the images and you will host the image on your server?

Snakeair, they aren't the sort of business's to have a design department or graphics person so often end up copying and saving the logo off their website lol

I tried to dabble into all this once and broke my head. Then gave it to an expert, Would like to do something of this myself with the help of tutorials some day!
