Adding a border
I thought this would be easy
How do I add a border to a graphic using Adobe ImageReady?

First make sure you are on a new top layer. In the menus go SELECT > ALL (or press CTRL+A). Then EDIT > STROKE.
Edit: The stroke box should have these settings if you want a 1px black border:

Damn I did what you said but when I got to Edit.. the entry for stroke was grey

Right click on the layer in the layers palette and choose
duplicate layer/ok
, edit/
stroke
should then be active for the new layer. This is one way to do it.

Thanks folks - when I saved the image, it seemed to work.
