Question How to create this effect in Photoshop

Hi there,

As abit of a Photoshop novice (a complete novice) , i used a template effect online in my Photoshop advert.

It worked great until coming to print, when the resolution turned out to be low.

How would i make this effect in photoshop

Thanks in advance for any help

looks like a black-dark gry background with a flare on a new layer with opacity around 80-90% . The flare is a render tool ( might not be render , from top of my head buts its defintely called flare ) on photoshop .

It's much more simple. Just create a white to black gradient using the gradients tool, then choose the circular shape and apply it to a new layer. Here is a tutorial which will help you: http://artist.tizag.com/photoshopTut...adienttool.php

Yes... just use a gradient. Play with the slider if needed. Sometimes i use a brush to create a light with white color at the center.

Well, All you have shared good and useful information. I think giving such effects using photoshop is much easy and simple. Before starting this process you have to make sure that your are using the right colour and the colour space.
