Web Design template

Ive put my web design logo on a simple template I have made. I want the site to be simple, but good looking. The buttons will have rollovers, but just a slight color change of the text, to make the site look and feel good to use, but not overpowering with effects.
What do you think of it?

Yeah its plain though its just the template. With content and images it wont look too plain.

its about the target audience and gauging their expectations.

How should I lay it out? What should i avoid?

whatever, just need opinions, siggestions.
For example, should I have alot of text in the main content area, or those business stock photos with text aorund it, or flashing images with irritating music??
