Newbie Illustrator question
I haven't played with Illustrator in ages and I forgot how to do a simple task:
I want to "distort" a word into the shape of an arch. Couldn't find how to do it...

I rarely use Illustrator - but in PS there's a little distort pallette you can use to do it.

Yes, I just need to make the bloody path. It's been so long since I played in Illustrator... Awesome tool but very complex.
I'll find a way.
I'm trying to "design" a nameplate for my dog's dogpalace (if you check my latest blog entry "Stupid Pet Projects", you'll understand why is a dog palace and not a doghouse )

type on a path
to make type on a path type out the word with the type tool.
then use the pen tool to create a path, then just copy type on the path
with the type path tool. you may need to adjust the type to center it,
hope this helps
