Nice.
Atom: People usually make logos bit so they're scalable for all types of reasons (ie letterheads, websites, banners...)

I see ... cause unless it was going to be smaller, I was going to suggest smoothing the edge of the oval, it's not that easy, but can be done and would definitely improve it, but I don't think it would be necessary at a reduced size.
This looks both simple and professional to me ... nice work ..

oh.... N/M .... I just realized you must have meant "big" ....
Is there some special techniques for making logos as opposed to other graphics? If there are, I don't know what they are and need to know this.... I ask because I see "logos" in their own category often .... does anyone know the reason for this? I mean.... aside from them being different in the way of simplicity in design, ,,,, I mean, in the actual execution of the design , like, special steps in PS or anything like that?.

The logos are usually last and usually take more time as they want more creativity.
And yes, I meant big

Not really, you just need to know what you're doing in PS.
Not really sure what you mean by special steps though

Any special flattening of the image or using high resolution or any special steps maybe so it can be used like on business cards or something,,, ........ steps in PS that are unique to making logos is what I mean... do you know if there are any?

make sure to create the logo in 300dpi - this allows much more flexible scaling, whether you want poster size or letterhead...

Ya, this wasn't one of my most thought out projects or anything, it was a result of boredom and free time, its not even going to be used, i just thought it looked cool. But thanks about the 300dpi, i'm going to create a logo in ps and have that be my main logo and i want to be able to go back and just grab it and use it for whatever i want, web sites, posters, business cards, or whatever.
