Review: New logo

following advice from forum members i have designed a new logo for my ebook website

Great improvement, I still have some advice for the new logo.

IMO, there is far too much text. I would remove the reflected text to create a cleaner look, but if you choose to stay with the reflected characters, perhaps add a blur to make it look more graphical. Also, is the "instant download" part of the site name? If not, maybe put it below the title or take it out completely. My last "if I were you" recommendation would be to maintain "HOBSONSCHOICEEBOOKS" as capitals, but reduce any other logo text to lowercase. Also, is it supposed to be Hobson's with an apostrophe? Okay, now I'm just being ridiculous.

I took a peek at your related site to see how the colours worked. I think you should pick up the orange and grey motif in your webdesign as well, even if it's as much as making citrus-coloured links.

As many suggestions as I made, you are on the right track. I enjoy the monitor graphic. Create a few versions of the logo to share with family and coworkers (and us) if you're up to it!

Nice logo!

Reflection is a bit too strong and I'd weaken it a little.
Also you could add gradient fade to this reflection, so the bottom part of it is completely transparent.

No need to add the reflection of "Instant Download" (and as chicgeek said - lowercase for this would be better), I'd also make these letters thinner, so "HOBSONSCHOICEEBOOKS" dominates in the logo.

I gotta say I still don't like the reflection, but I think an angled and burred shadow would do nicely.

I'm sorry again, but I don't understand the desire to add more text than "Hobson's Choice Ebooks". Less is more.

Though I do like the red/grey-blue scheme of one of those last logos. Just make sure your webpage compliments it.

i like the method of joining words together, but not when a word ends with the same as the other starts, for example 'choiceebooks'.

All the icons you add to the logos seem so generic that they aren't realyl worth having. I'd go with just text i think.

I don't like the red in that... everything else is phenomenal. Even if you use a brighter gold or a darker grey-blue for the red bits.
