yes, in imageready you would crop it as though its a static image and it crops every frame.

Although I posed it as a question, I was just trying to get you to crop it for me, DB. Get busy.

I had to do it. There was a guy, with a gun, and he was telling me to do it or he would hurt me. I resisted as long as I could, but after he gouged out both eyes, I couldn't resist any more.

hey,
I just found this thread via a Google search, and I too am trying to crop (and resize) an animated gif. Some further Googling seemed to indicate that imageready is no longer available, so is there any chance Davey might fix my gif too? I had tried to do this in Irfanview and Paint.net, but was only ending up with a single, static image. Size-wise, I first changed this 400Wx240H image to 400Wx300H (new aspect ratio), then cropped on the sides to 180Wx300H, which I then resized to 240Wx400H (same new aspect ratio). Could that be done?

Yeah you can crop animated gifs using adobe imageready. U just need to import it inside imageready and crop it to your liking and then save optimized as to get the desired output.

John that animation is hilarious!
Thanks for the tip though, I actually wasn't sure if it was possible as I've never needed to do it.
Good to know.
