Metal texture
Made a metal texture for a game, had to have blood on the right of it. What do you think?

you should use the burn toll to make the blood look like it is actually on top of the metal instead of just hovering over it, for example, use the burn tool over a blood spot that is in the crease of metal to give it shadow, but good job

yeah good tip, but this is going on a model in 3DS max, and so the rivits in the metal will actually be there in 3D, and the blood will move with them.

Currently just making models and graphics. Still deciding on what 3D engine to use, have a couple in mind. Ive made demo levels each level using Quake 3 maps to compare them, so hopefully ill pick one soon :-D

Torque is good for a high quality engine. I use it and really enjoy it.

Well it is primarily best for First Person, the engine is outstanding, but you can do anything with it.

Is torque much better than any free engines which have similar features?
I have one free engine that seems very good, supports all sorts of things, 3ds files, physics engine, lighing effetcs etc.
Then theres a few good looking commercial ones.
