Suggestions needed
I'm off to make a signature for my site. I'm a total newbie and I know nothing about PS. But I've used my logo (Thanx alot Justin ) and created this small image:
Now can someone please tell me what to do with it so that I get more 'life' in it ? I've checked some tutorial sites without results.

Well...that would be pretty cool...I'll think about that
I would like to add some filters to the edges of the pic or something to make the pic 'not so perfect' if you know what I mean.

might try downloading some brushes and useing them on a new layer set to about 25% just to give it some extra action without taking too much away from what is alreay there.

Maybe add some grunge? I think that'll look nice on it.

Looks great joekim. I would burn the edge of the flower slightly to make it a bit more three dimensional. Looks really nice though, clean simple, and will make a fine sig.

With the burn tool, in Photoshop
I would set brush size to about 5, range to midtones, and exposure to about 30%, then do a single stroke along each petal edge, see if that brings it out ...if you don't like it just , edit/stepbackward, as many times as strokes you made, and start over with different settings... it doesn't hurt to play around with the settings, you can always undo your moves (edit/stepbackward).

If your talking about Photoshop, it's not a free program ... and the brushes JuggoPop was referring to, are Photoshop plugins ..

Ok...made some simple changes with some filters. Haven't tried the burn tool yet (found it)
Which one do you prefer
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Personal opinion: the lens flair filter makes you* look like a newbie, avoid at all costs (* you = anyone that uses it)
as far as the choices... #2
and I decided to kill some time playing with it as well... though the matte color may be off...

Well. I told you I was a newbie
Your work looks great BTW. Can you make the last one but with a smaller text down to the right that I had in my version ? The font that is used is 'AsseenonTV'.....
