not near as much work went into the hands as into the face, with the hands i did alot of color burning and dodging, and color adjustment as well as painting and levels adustments

yeah... I was examining it and I found that I had to increase the size at least 20% more to really see the stitch work well... but yeah it came out pretty good...
I noticed that ..... shoot, I can't think of his name right now... the one that drew the stiches there ... he added a bit of pus that looked pretty good... but I don't know if you could get away with that or not on those colors... maybe some scabs or some darkened dried blood would add realisim and gore though... just a thought... |

i used an actual pic of stiches, i just did some work to them to make them work with my pic

yeah neet.... that's what I would do because I don't think that I could draw them very well... I don't know though, I never tried, but I know I don't draw that well so I would prob. use a nice photo like this one if I had it, and maybe just draw on it a little bit here and there...
I've found that I can draw a crude few lines on an existing image, and then reduce the opacity of the lines to blend in, and it often makes my drawing look better, and the image...

i can draw decent in real life, but expecially not with a mouse (it's always skipping around on my mouse pad, i can't draw a straight line) im about to get one of the lazer ones so i don't have that problem

kool... I don't know if a drawing pad would help me cause I really don't draw all that well to begin with,, lol ... I do use an optical mouse though... that helps ...
