I need someone to do me a VERY simple favour
Can someone please resize the Centertainment Image to fit the "Clan Name" Image.
I needs to be the same width. That's the important bit, The image can still be a bit vertically longer than the Clan image after being resized so that it is still in proportion and doesn't look messed up, and the Centertainment image still needs to be transparent after being resized.
Thanks

The "Your clan name" image is 599px wide.
I don't know a damned thing about graphics, but I used ACDSee to resize this to 599px wide and auto-resize the height to preserve the aspect ratio.

Thanks for putting in the effort, but now the image has lost it's glasyy effect...
Does anyone elso know how to do it?
NOTE: The height either needs to be the same, or longer than the other image. I don't want the height to be less. The width has to be exactly the same as the other image.

or how about this?
and I'm not sure what you mean by "Centertainment image still needs to be transparent after being resized"... because it's not transparent to start with.

I'm looking at the one from post #1. Background is the forum background here and if I view it on it's own it's white... therefore transparent otherwise it wouldn't change right?

I color matched mine from the original in photoshop as well as blended the original background in to keep the lines at the top.
oh well.. if it's not up to par, that what you get with a free Juggo-image.

It's IE, it can't handle the transparency of PNG files...

Try saving it as a .png rather than a .gif.

it's pointless to use images that can't be seen correctly in IE.
that's my and I'm not working on the image anymore for free.
not to be mean, I'm just busy.

Sure, but IE is stupid to not decode them properly.

true, but IE is widely used as well... meaning you think it's going to look nice because you use FF and most of the world that views the site see it jacked.
it's easy to fix. make images with a background that matches or use a gif and work a little harder at making it blend.
that's the deal with working in graphics... sometimes you have to do what you may not want to.
