They both "look like" wood to me .... but if it doesn't to Vulko, then I am curious to know what it looks like to him, if not wood. I think that's a fair question, in response to his statement ... and I would like to hear how he answers it, if he does. ..

The color I chose to make my wood1.jpg, was intentional. I would have to change the pattern of the grain quite drastically to make it not look like wood, no matter if it was flourecent green.

It would then just look like flourecent green wood.

I ran the burn tool over the whole pic .. I think 3 or 4 times, to get the basic yellow I wanted, then over some of the knots to get them the color I wanted them ....

I don't think the structure looks like wood it reminds me of whirls , like in a sea... but it looks wonderful though

it's not a structure, it's a picture .... and it doesn't resemble the sea at all to me... it looks like knotty, grainy wood to me...of course the branches wouldn't be that close together ordinarily, but this is a picture, not a piece of wood... it only resembles a peice of wood, with the knots close together..

i belive he's talking about places like inside of the red boxes, that appear to be more blurry, and smugged, then actually like wood

oh.... yeah maybe.... but all I have to go on is what he said, and he said "I dunno (I'm assuming he meant "do not", but I could be wrong) think it looks like wood".

but yeah.. I agree with you there 05, although... I have seen some pretty funky looking wood, especially burl wood ... some of it doesn't look like wood at all to me ... I'll post some pics and show you what I mean... If you wanna see something that "really" doesn't look like wood... then check these out... and .... they are actual untouched photos of real wood! ...
