There is a nice plugin for Firefox "Save as Image" that lets you to save whole page as an image, not just above the fold part of the page.
Than you can edit this high resolution image in Photoshop or whatever graphic software you are using...

Is There Any Screen SHot Software?
Does anybody know a good screen shot or screen capture software which can be downloaded online in which we can edit the size of the images that we capture.
Your replies are appreciated and thanks in advance.

A buddy pointed me to SnagIt (just do a Google search for that term) which seems to have many features.
I've never used it (PSP has capture built in), but looks quite good from the description on their website.

Nothing beats the PrintScreen button
Plus if you have Adobe fireworks and Press prt scr button and then start up firework and put New> then paste and you can do anything you want to the image in a proffesional image software program.

but when i change the size of the image it reduces the quality of the picture...thats the reason i need a good sw for that so that image quality remains good even after changing the size

SnagIt works so much better than just the printscreen button. You can take screen shot of the entire site top to bottom for one. It's well worth the money

I use Srip 32, it lets you take a custom rectangle of screen, and also puts pictures together to make animated gifs. http://www.progency.com/

I am using FireFox and there is a handy screen capture addon - Fireshot , you can set an external graphic software (i.e. gimp) to it, and once the screen is captured to a file, the external graphic program is called, you can then make changes to the file anyway you like.

Hey I did download the trial version of SnagIt and I must say that I am really very satisfied with its features and I guess you have bee using snagit for a quite a time now, can you tell me how can we capture videos with the help of this.I did try doing this but was not able to capture audio which was there with the video.
I am not sure whether this feature is there in snagit or not - if you knw any other software which can capture flash videos like the ones from youtube please do let me know.
Thanks
Nikhil
