Hi guys, Im working on a layout for a directory I'm building, The Magic Guide. I've had a logo designed which I'm pleased with and I am iterating the crimson colour through the top level links. Is this too garish?
Also, I am having trouble coming up with a way of seperating the navigation bar (submit link etc) from the rest of the page, any suggestions here?
I know it's looking a bit bare at the moment, but this is why I need some input!!
Too many options in how to seperate the navbar. A line. A colored bar. Colored buttons... I mean, you can go just about anyway you want at such an early stage and it will not clash with anything so it will look good.
Ultimately, it's about the totality of the design and how all those types of elements work together.

I have added a top navigation bar which currently includes a search box and will house links to other sections of the site such as videos, forum etc. How do you feel this fits in with the layout?
