Looking for set of icons

I am looking for a set of plain icons ( 64 x 64 or 128 x 128 ) in an SVG, PNG or JPEG format that have a similar yet basic design for a personal project. The icons need to be for file types ( like jpg, pdf, doc, xml, rss, php etc ) and need to have some format to their filename that would allow a program to select the right icon for the right file extention.

Although I have tried to get my own collection going, it is hard to get them all to have a similar style and look. Does linux have any collections like this?

If anyone can help I would be greatly appreciative,

More like a set of icons like:

but with more icons for file types.

On my website (see signature) I want all download links to have an icon beside them to indicate their file type (as the urls use the title more often than the filename). This is also all through the file administration section

When my site starts offering new views on downloadable files (like thumbnail or preview), I will need to have a set of icons to display if there is no image show (eg audio, and movies if the server is under strain).

That way id know if i can help, or not, in which case id stop working on the rest of the icons and do something moreproductive with my time.

Sorry, I miss read your question.

The icon design I have in mind is generally identical to the PDF icon above, with a different colour text background for each icon and a different image/logo.

The AVI example you provided seems good, though I would like it if it had more colour. Are you creating all of these or are they just out of a personal collection?

It would be good if the dimensions were 64x64 or 128x128 though.

Yes i 'was' creating them, but I'm not about to colorise them so sorry for that. I may do the rest and have on my site for people to download in the future then...
