WOW! Great stuff! Ampro I really like that logo. It has that Princess Mononoke feel I really like!
I think for the actual cover image, the extra graphics would be omitted. But, for the site and banners, that would be great! Could I see it without the graphics. Just the text?
Thanks,
C.D. White

One other thing. If you are selected, you will be the graphic designer on the actual book and all covers/posters etc, we do with it. A nice incentive I think!
Thanks,
C.

Here's the redone logo with only text you wanted to see. What do you think. Also I posted a variation of the full graphic.

Yeah, I'm thinking if the blue was burned and darkened even more at the ends it would fade it nicely with the graphic on the cover.

you know, I think it's the blue/orange contrast that makes it appealing to me.
I think LegendlogoRGB.jpg with a little more blue leaves and a little less orange leaves would look really nice

I was fooling with the cover last night, and made the trees come alive a bit... gave them eyes and faces and stuff... it was fun.... not going to post it out of respect for the artist though... he's a very good artist who drew that cover...

She said you really should put it right on the cover at this point, to see how it looks.... she said it might not look good on the cover but, she thinks it will...

I would suggest fooling with scaling the size of the logo, and it's opacity.
The tinted background of the logo can be selected and it's opacity reduced to 0%, for example, and of course the lettering's opacity can be adjusted for best blending. I would just fool around w/it some..
