Programs for banner creation
Anyone here have any experience using different programs to make banners? I'd kind of like to get an opinion on different programs before I dish out the $$$ for one.

There are alot of options when it comes to purchasing image manipulation software. But, if you are on a tight budget, there are alot of quality free-ware
imaging programs available also. If you want, I could send you a few links to good free software.

Honestly, everyone's told me that there aren't that big of differences in the different Photoshop versions. If you can get an older one I'd do that unless there's something you absolutly need in a new one.

waffles, there really isnt any big difference actually, only new options like, vanish points, warp, and some diff filters, i like cs2 better, but with ps7 u can just do about the same.

Those dirty rings. You've tried soaking them out and scrubing them out and still you get .. Ring Around The Collar.
Try Wisk!

I hear alot about photoshop. Is it really that much better than its competition. I used Macromedia Fireworks and Paint Shop Pro. They both work great. Is it worth getting used to new graphic design software and switching to photoshop?
