I see what you mean about the text, but it's more than that. Something overall about it just looks "wrong". Maybe the concept was bad. I may just scrap it and start over in a new direction.

I don't like the purplish color behind the links.
And the green glow makes it look out of place.

Maybe you just have too much color in it.

what exactly happens at this annual haunted forrest thing?

anyway about the design....yeah something is missing...you need a better font and much better imagery to pull off the "frightening" feel i assume you're going after.

The haunted forrest is put on yearly by the drama dept. of the local university. It's a haunted house only in the woods without a house Adults cry..it's great.

i wish i had a freakin' host that didn't block linking on forums but i guess that's what you get when you have to have a class freakin web site ya know...it's for my design class so i guess i can't complain...

anyway...if i had a way to link i'd post some ideas but as you've read..the site that the college provides me doesn't let me do that... oh well..i guess i'll email you if you want.
