Thumbs down Help me choose a logo

I am currently trying to come up with a decent logo for my website DD1 Designs. I am not that good when it comes to graphic design. My main aim for the logo is to keep it sharp, clean and simple, preferably using a cool/trustworthy colour which is why blue and green have been chosen for the logos below. I have basically just used a combination of simple geometric shapes and colours.

A

B

C

D

E. Something a bit abstract

Which one do you think is better suited to a web design site? I may create some more, something more abstract to see what it would look like. Obviously if I chose a greenish logo the colour scheme in the site would be changed. Any suggestions on colours or ideas would be good.

A. looked rather good on the website and B is my favourite.

Maybe you should try the logos based on the typography only? None of the symbols you have used is unique enough to help you in building the "brand".

Have you drawn that face illustration? With some more work it could be turned into quite nice logo.

Yeah, done it a while ago for a different site that I never completed. I think I will play around with it, see what I can do.

I thought that one, maybe gave the wrong impression of the company.

Lightbulb Themetic Logo

Please remember that you will need to make several prototypes of your logo, like: Animated logo, fancy logo, multicolor logo, 2 color logo, single color logo, and black & white logo. Don't design logos that can loose the theme or or look while converting the logo into various prototypes. e.g. An Black & White Orange in a logo, looks like a lemon.

Do not overlap similar opacity colors. When converting it to black and white, it might look like same color.

Make it simple and self-narrative. For that, use a single word text in the logo.
