Which tool did you use to cut out the round shapes?
And which ones to change the background color?
Thanks

Hey Jeet,
It is nothing, I used the Lasso tool to select around the picture as close as I can, then I opened a new page, File-->New and select how many pixels I need to the picture, after that you click on the other picture, the Snow man picture, you select the move tool and move the snow man from a page to another, then I used the magic wand tool to delete the colors around the snow man, I used the eraser to make the round stuff, not the wand, it will take everything off, just a little concentration, I hope this will help.

You have very good concentration!!!
I really have trouble cutting image shapes, especially the one with curves. Plus when I use the magic eraser, it leaves tiny tiny white dots at the edges, so finally when I paste the new cut out shape on another PSD with a dark background, these little dots look very very ugly...
Same problem comes when I make a shape on a transparent background, and then save as gif. Trying to use this transparent file on a dark background page shows those dots around the shape.
Any tips for me?
Thanks

Hey there,
You can always use the eraser in this situation, if you don't want to make your picture disappear, just select with the lasso tool all around were you want to erase and erase them, here you get to erase just inside the selection, even if you get out of it, it will not get harm because of the selection, try it and if you need any help I can try to do it for you.

I almost always use the Pen Tool to isolate an element, feather radius 0 and anti-aliased checked. Where the fringe is too small I usually use some combination of Extract, the Magic Wand Tool at precise tolerances, and the Eraser Tool. I've learned to do this fairly quickly. This method provides very good results, I've found.

You can also try the Vertus Fluid Mask plug-in for Photoshop, very precise and easy way to remove backgrounds etc.

Not sure, but the search I did for it indicates that it is about a $200 plugin.
