As he said the image is for him, not us, then you don't need to do anything to it, but if it was for us i would ask if we should be able to get the idea of passion and confusion and guess at the story, OR are we just supposed to see what it means to us.
I think there's two art types:
(1) expressive - sending a message (hopefully same message to each viewer);
(2) evocative - stiring the emotions and memories/imagination (but leaving up to individual interpretation);
Anyone agree or have other ideas?
