Looking for royalty free web icons
Do you know of any urls that have royalty free icons for websites?

I normally dont use them but I think this one template could do with some... I'm looking for icons like, handshake, news, services and so on... Free is prefered as I don't want to pay unless I have to So I was hoping someone might know of any. I've googled but, meh... Not seeing exactly what I want and I dont want to register anywhere for their free package, just yet.

Both of those were a waste of time.

I realize the pickins are slim. Dont post something in, like, the first 20 hits on google 'free icons' 'free web icons' or any other such combination of 'free' and 'icons'.

Just posted what I keep in my bookmarks (didn’t knew that any of these sites are in top 20 Google serps). Hasn’t time to check if any of these sites has right icons for you.

I honestly don't know of any "free" ones. But I have purchased some for really cheap from istockphoto.com

To keep things above board, here's one of my fav's and they are good and free As in, no registration or push to subscribe... I just didn't find anything that would work. Though I came up with something since, so I'm not looking anymore.

glad you liked them. i honestly didn't see a problem in downloading and using them, its a very nice collection. if you want to pay for some, here's a link to some i bought with the intention of selling them.
